Landair Surveys were engaged to undertake a control survey for levels for a large infrastructure project in Melbourne. The Level Methodology was to generally be in accordance with ICSM ‘Guideline for Control Surveys by Differential Levelling’ Special Publication 1 (SP1) Version 2.2 and to the specification for 12mm√K(km).
Using our Leica LS15 digital level we easily achieved this specification by having a misclose of 0.5mm per km. Our Leica LS15 0.3mm precision digital level has a magnetically damped compensator, auto focus, wide-angle camera, compass and internal memory meaning fast and accurate levelling giving our client confidence in the accuracy of levels measured for survey control marks to be used over many years on this large project.
